Please Help Mark Howie & His Family

Hello,

I have created this blog to let you know about an opportunity to help a fellow SYKES employee. 

Mark Howie, a SYKES employee in Newtown, PA recently suffered a massive heart attack.  Mark is currently in critical condition with machines keeping him alive.  He has, however, stabilized... and this is a good sign.  Every day that he remains stable increases the likelihood that he will wake up and his body will resume control.

Mark has been a SYKES and/or ICT Group employee for 7 years.  He is a valued member of the Data Services team in IT.   Any of you who have had the chance to work with Mark know what a positive person he is -- what a sense of humor and optimism he has.  He is a great person to work with and has been a very good friend to many.

Mark is just 38 years old.  He and and his wife, Dana, have four children between the ages of 9 and 19. 

 

Many of you who are aware of Mark's situation have asked how you can help.  As you can imagine, Mark's wife Dana is just going day-to-day right now, and it is hard for her to know exactly what will help.  But she and her family have affirmed that anything we can do is welcome.
